LAHORE: Funeral prayers for the 15 people massacred in Turbat were offered on Thursday after which their bodies were dispatched to Lahore.
Funeral prayers for the victims, whose bullet-riddled bodies were discovered a day earlier by Levies officials were offered in the presence of senior military and civil leadership.
Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, former chief minister Abdul Malik Baloch, Commander Southern Command Lt. Gen. Asim Bajwa, IJFC, IG Police, MPAs and other ministers of the province attended the funeral.
After the funeral prayers were offered, bodies of the victims were wrapped in the national flag and flown to Lahore via a c-130 aircraft.
The bodies of the victims will be transported to rural areas from Lahore in ambulances.
According to media reports, the victims were trying to escape to Europe via Iran when they were murdered.
